1. How can I
donate ?
There are two
ways of donating to a charity:
The first one
is through the charity's website (NOT this one). If
you click on one of the links on top, you will find
information about each charity and also a link to their
donation pages. You will then make an individual donation
to your chosen charity.
The second
option is through this website. We try to raise an amount
every year for ONE charity and donate it in the name
of Amanda Tapping's Fans. You will then make a group
donation to a chosen charity.
2. Methods of
donating with this site.
First of all,
very IMPORTANT ! Your money will go to the owner of
this website, so NOT directly to the chosen charity.
Sandy Peeters is collecting the money and will make a
transfer in Amanda Tapping Fans their name. If you don't
like this, then we suggest you visit the website of your
favorite charity and donate individually.
Donations made
through paypal are done by clicking the button below.
If you wish to
pay by credit card (also with paypal), then also click the
button above but click on the button next to " If you do
not currently have a PayPal account "
If you wish to
make a banktransfer or write a check please contact us at
atcharity@gmail.com and we will provide you
with our information.
Note: All
payments must be made in euros. All fees need to be paid by
the contributor. We are trying to raise money for a charity
so please take responsibility for extra costs.
3. Is it safe
to pay online through this website ?
We are
receiving all online payments through paypal. If you don't
know paypal then visit
their website. Paypal
is used around the world for secure online payments. We are
however, not responsible for loss of data and incorrect
payments.
4. Online
auction: what, when, how?
We will be
holding an online auction on ebay, an exact date
will be announce on the website over time, in which we will
be auctioning off some Amanda and Stargate related items.
The auction
will have items such as magazines, posters, photos, dvds..
Amanda was also very kind to sign a couple of these items
for this online auction during her stay in London, at Gabit.
How can I
participate?
You will need
an ebay account in order to participate. Visit
ebay.com
You will need
to have a method of payment: paypal, check, banktransfer.
All items will
be sold in euros
You will also
need to pay for shipping expenses
5. Is there an
other way I can contribute to this website?
We are still
looking for more items to sell in our auction. So if you
have something you wish to donate, then please do contact us

course we will credit you for your donation.
If there is
anything you wish to add to the site, if you have anything
to share with fellow fans concerning charity, personal
stories, etc... feel free to contact us at the same address
or leave a message when you donate.
6. How will
the donation of this website be made?
We will make a
banktransfer to the chosen charity with a message stating
it's a donation from the fans of the actress Amanda Tapping,
we will also include a link to this website. We will
try to contact the chosen charity through e-mail and we will
also send them a letter from the website with the
raised amount.
